What started as an afternoon craft project quickly turned into something more and now the Cementique brand can be found in select stores across Ireland. And we are delighted to be stockists here in The Narrow Space! Robyn & Sean, the couple behind the brand, work from their home in Waterford City where they live with their two children, two dogs and lots and lots of plants. Their cement plant holders come in a variety of shapes, sizes and finishes and the plants in the wonderful holders are of equal beauty and variety!

Handcrafted in small batches, each pot takes approximately 2 weeks to make from start to finish. The utmost care and thought goes into each piece, from the design concept down to the eco packaging. Due to the nature of concrete, no two pieces will ever be exactly alike and it is these variations in colour, texture and size that help create each perfectly imperfect piece.

Robyn has started working with the material Jesmonite, which allows for more experimentation with colour, texture and finish. Jesmonite is a composite material used in fine arts, crafts, and construction. It consists of a gypsum-based material in an acrylic resin.

More recently Cementique has started working with coins and recycled copper to produce beautiful and unique jewellery pieces. These pieces are zero waste.
